DatePicker

Do you need a free, simple, yet powerful Calendar or DatePicker control for HTML5?

We know that browsers should be (soon) able to define custom UI for input elements with their type attribute set to “date”, but as standards do not define how the UI should look and behave it’s probably going to be a mess at least until reaching a de facto similarity status.

To address our own customers needs (for grid cell editors associated to our Gantt Chart components), we developed Hyper-DatePicker, that is now also available on GitHub. It’s free and works either on pure JavaScript® or in a TypeScript enabled environment. The full source code is of course included: this is the first open source project from DlhSoft!

Update: We’ve just added ds:calendar and ds:date-picker AngularJS directives too!

<ds:date-picker value=”datePickerValue” …></ds:date-picker>
